This boardman feeder features a plastic base with a punched metal lid that fits easily onto any standard mason jar. Simply fill your jar with a sugar water mixture (see below), screw the punched lid onto the jar, inverse the jar and insert into the plastic feeder. This boardman feeder can be used by inserting the plastic stair-step end into an entrance reducer so the feed levels can be assessed without disturbing the hive or placed inside a hive box to prevent robbing.
